Windows Vista Help

by ideaddict . Updated 19 years, 4 months ago

I really like the new Vista Ultimate that I purchased but I have a few areas I need help with.

I am running Vista on a Toshiba P100 Duo Centrino 2 gigs of RAM and 120 gig hard drive
The best resolution I can get is 1024 x 768 and it is like looking some old machine and video card
The screen is the glassy look but my graphics are terrible.
What happened to “Add and Delete” software programs in the Control Panel.
I have a Roxio Sonic program that got by the installation and now just creates an error on boot-up (this is the second time Roxio has done this to me). I went to there site and I have the latest version and at the top left of their page there is the Vista compliant graphic. As much as I ask I get no response.
The Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery directory will not let me edit, delete, move whatever. I have tried changing the permissions but that doesn’t help either.

Any advise would be appreciate and thanks so much.
