Windows Vista Hibernation Mode

by markhamilton . Updated 18 years, 3 months ago

This Question may sound absurd, but hey, its Microsoft! Had a client claiming there laptop was in Hibernation mode and concurrently people could see them logged on to Windows Messenger, Version is Home Premium on a Dell Laptop operating Wireless. I find it hard to believe as as far I understand, windows takes a memory/wots going on and wots loaded snapshot, saves it, and shuts down, so how can they still appear online on Messenger and was downloading, have they perhaps mistaken hibernation for notebook powersave, lol??? I know its a dumb Q, but Vista is still kinda open and dont trust it till a few more upgrades have been made. Prefer some kinda confirmation as would prefer not to be proven wrong! Besides looking like an idiot.
