Hope you can assist. HP Pavillion Lapto 6000dv.
Works in safe mode. When using it in regular mode goes into a BSOD. Stop error as follows:
Kernel_Data_Inpage_error With this error I get the 0x0000007a yada yada yada. Occationally I get the following: Kernel_stack_inpage_error
With this error it is 0x00000077 etc…
I think it is software related but any search for these errors gives you multiple things it could be..I need to isolate it down..Memory checks good. Hard disk chkdsk hangs at stage 4 of 5 ..Since it works fine in safe mode I tend to believe it is software. It seems to work to various levels and starts to slow down ..then freeze up…then the Blue Screen pops up…I then have to start all over. It has been a week plus a few days and I have been trying to get this back up and running. PC hardware ..is 1gb of ram. 1.66ghz amd processor. and a seagate scsi 120gb hard disk. I am currently going to look for the *.dmp files to send to Microsoft maybe they can decipher it…Any help would be great. Thanks for your time.
