Hi guys I have MS Windows Vista Business Edition, here’s my situation I can ping localhost and can go the internet, such as yahoo and any other websites with no problem. But when I try to ping it, it says “Request Time Out,” Is there any security built in to Vista that is blocking it? I checked and it says Windows firewall is off, but its controlled thru a group policy. Other clients on the same network that is running XP/2000 can ping external IPs with no problem. Help please?
