Something has gone wrong with my son’s Windows Vista Recycle Bin. For some reason it immediately and permanently deletes files as soon as they are moved into the Recycle Bin. I have repeatedly opened the Recycle Bin properties and selected a custom size for the bin, but as soon as I close the properties it automatically reverts to the “Do not move files to the Recycle Bin.” setting. What’s going on? Why won’t the Recycle Bin remember my changes?
