I recently upgraded my HP Pavilion (zd8000) laptop to Windows Vista. When I was finished, the first issue I am having is a constant chkdsk whenever the computer is started. The second issue I am having is that the computer will not operate on the batter power alone. In the tray on the menu bar, the computer shows that the battery is 100% but if I unplug the battery, the computer turns off and will not start unless on AC power.
