Windows Vista v XP

Hi I bought a notebook and it had Vista on it So i decided in my infinate wisdom lol to put XP on. Since doing so i have lost my sound card and my wireless what can i do? I have tried installing the AC97 drivers for my sound card and the correct drivers for my Wireless but they just come up with an error: cannot continue. I am at my witts end with this now and i did not create a system restore disk when i got it ( I know I am stupid )please can someone help me?

My Notebook is an EI-machine 3115

You are probably installing Vista drivers . . .

Vista drivers will NOT work with XP.

You will have to download XP drivers from the websites of the manufacturers of the soundcard and wifi manufacturers.

Try the notebook manufacturer's site also.

Take it back

I would take the machine back to shop and get it restored back to factory default again!

And MAKE a restore disk!

Hi, i have also got the ei-machine 3115. if you go onto the tech-guys website, you will find the drivers on there, you have to go onto support, then find the model of your computer. These drivers worked for me when i installed xp on it
