Through either a virus or some other mal-adjusted problem, I have lost my MRB. I can not even come to a C:/promt in order to format the disk. No backup of boot record was made. I cannot get recovery console to work either. XP PRO. operating system. I have put in my XP CD and also tried a win98 floppy but no cigar. I have read on MS web site that manually replacing the MRB requires some previous knowledge of boot record. I am lost at this point. I need a miricle.
