I am using windows xp pro, an auto shutdown message always appeared during internet browsing.
The message is: This system is shutting down,Please save all works in progress and log off
Any unsaved changes will be lost. This shut down was initiated by NT Authority system.
The computer will shutdown and reboot again

Sounds like Blaster worm to me.

I suggest that you scan your computer for the blaster worm virus. The message "This system is shutting down, please save all work..." is a sympton of the blaster worm.

If it's not blaster It is one of the others that are similar.

Install the windows RPC patch then remove the virus.

To keep your computer running when you get this message click on start-->run then type shutdown -a and then enter.

Both mcafee and norton have free removal tools that can found in their virus definitions for many of these virus's.
