Windows XP Boot Disk

By joe1105 ·
Is there anyway I can create a boot disk to get me to the DOS command prompt when Windows XP has been installed?

The easiest way is to go to www.bootdisk.com and follow the directions.

heres an idea. although i dont think its what you want: Windows XP and MS-DOS Multiple-Boot Configuration
When you start your computer, choose MS-DOS from the menu on the boot loader screen.
Install Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me in a folder separate from the Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows NT %SystemRoot% folder.
After you successfully install Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me and restart your computer, the Windows XP or Windows 2000 boot loader screen appears, and you can choose between MS-DOS and Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows NT. If you choose MS-DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me starts.

Maybe a Linux boot disc is what you want?

You can gain access to the file system of a NTFS drive via a Linux boot disc. You may not be able to alther files but you can delete the administrator's password and boot the system with a blank one. Id this what you want?
