CDRW.Drive is detected by bios,(secondary IDE-position one).My trouble is windows XPs’ device manager recognizes the drive,loads the appropriate driver,at which point I get an error that lies & states windows cannot detect the drive(error 41). All connections and settings seem to be good. the CD-ROM is a “TDK-veloCD ReWriter. XP error codes &/or help is very much apprieciated. -DMR-
