When I look in the security tabs under managing computer I see the following:
USER Catagory
Guest Logon/Logoff
System Account Logon
Anonymous Logon Logon/Logoff
Network service Policy Change
Local Service Logon/Logoff
This in addition to the regular user. Can anyone explain what is happening? Do I have a hacker hacking into my computer or is this regular XP's doing?

These are standard "extra" users that are packaged with 2k, XP and XP Pro. The best thing to do is to disable all the accounts except your account(s)and the local & network services.

Another good security tip is to rename the administrator account - hackers if they get onto your computer will try to break the password using the Administrator logon.... its the only one without a lockout for password tries.

I'm sure you haven't got a hacker on your machine. If you are connected to the Internet (modem or broadband) then think about getting a virus checker but more importantly a firewall.
