Windows Xp install

by demonjrules . Updated 18 years, 2 months ago

When I re-installed Windows Xp Professional I set it to install on a single partition and I told the process to use all of the 250gb on my drive for that single partition. Now when I go into my computer it shows that 140gb is just being used for just the basic operating system, nothing else, just leaving 100gb free. Now I’m not complaining about not having all the disk space that I payed for but Its a little strange that windows did this to me. Anyone have any insight on this situation, past experiences or just some input? I would really like to know whats going on.
