windows xp installation

i want to install windows xp on one of my systems. But the problem is this that the system has no cd drive and no chance to install it. All computers are on network. What i want to ask that is it possible to install windows xp through another computer on my network.

The easiest way would be a direct cable connection (with a crossover cable). You should need a floppy boot to set it up properly. Best to pull an image that will run setup or copy all of the setup files to the hdd.
Another way to do it would be to pull the drive, add it as slave to another system, and copy the setup files.
and finally, how about an external cd drive?
Otherwise, if you have the ability, the first response is good. But that is more for mass deployments.

Create an I386 directory on the computer. Copy the entire contents of the I386 directory on the CD-Rom to this folder using a network shared CD-Rom drive. When installing XP, DO NOT reformat the hard drive or convert to NTFS, that can be done afterwards.
