Are you saying registration key code? You need a key code viewer. Small program developed by someone. Look thru internet, you might get lucky and stumble on free download.
If you can still get into windows @ all and reach the internet simply download a Belarc Advisor from; http://www.belarc.com (Free for personal use) Install it and launch it from the program menu or desktop, after it collects the required info of the current inventory, both hdwre. & sftware…About 3/4 of the way down will be not only the product Keys, but also the true serial #’s those keys represent for all MS software installed. I would suggest if you can to print the sheet as it will help in the reformatting of the machine.
Installation ID is a 54 code (9 blocks of 6 codes) that is required to initiate activation for Windows XP. Once MS verifies the ID, it will send a Confirmation ID (42 codes) to finalize activation.
Unfortunately, there is no software that I know of that displays the Installation ID.
If the activation is not done yet, you can display it by the procedure of activating thru telephone.
