Hi-
I have a revelation I would like to share with you 😉
As you know the win install list gets populated every time a user instals software on the system. I was looking for a method to hide an installed program from a scan which bases on the “installed programs list”.
Apparently there is a possibility to do it with almost every registry editor.
What happens is the program disapears from the list. However I do not wish to uninstal it physically from the drive.
Then I ran the program, and terminated it normally – no issues.
However afterwards I noted that my installed programs have the mentionned program *again*, just without the possibility to “uninstall”.
Is there any clean method to get rid of the program from the registry but still have it on the disk and be able to use it?
Thanks-
Foo.
