Windows XP Keycode / Registration

A client had a hard drive crash which had to be installed over the weekend. I used my copy of Windows XP since he was unavailable. He owns Windows XP Upgrade – and I used my Action Pack copy. How can I get it registered correctly without completely reloading, which will wipe out everything.
