Windows xp network issue

By kashmeir63 ·
Hi ,
I have a strange problem. A user bought in a a windows xp_home edition computer. They are unable to get on the network. I did a virus scan and a ad/spyware scan. No virus found. I have a network adapter card working fine. Even re-installed the card plus added a second card. Both cards appear to be working fine. When connecting the computer to my network at work I'm unable to ping anything and unable to see the network. The cards are enabled w/tcp/ip running. which is I use on the network. I've helped people out before w/xp-home edition.
Any help would be aprreciated

You may want to want to run a program called WinsockXPfix. It is used to fix the problem of the TCP/IP stack being corrupted.
