I am having a problem with one of my XP machines. I have re-installed Windows XP more times then I can count now and tried various things to fix my problem but have been unsuccessful thus far. Basically after installing a fresh copy of WinXP and installing all the drivers I reboot and as soon as the machine gets past POST I get a blank screen. I ran CHDSK at the comand prompt in the recovery console and when I do it w/o the /p I get no errors but when I do it with the /p it says that it found errors. I can boot into safe mode with no problem but for some reason can’t get into windows on a normal boot process. I am running a A8N SLI Premium boad with a 2.2 GHz single core 939 pin processor BIOS ver 1009 I think and 2 DIMMs of 512 400MHz memory with a SATA 320 GB drive from Seagate. Does anyone have any ideas?
