Windows XP Pro Fat32 to NTFS

by webmaster . Updated 24 years, 9 months ago

Hi There;

Working on a server and I want to convert the C drive to NTFS for security reasons.
The D Drive converted fine in XP using the
command line. But C keeps telling me I do not have enough memory and shuts down.
This machine is a 233 Pentium with 64 megs of ram, a 30 gig C drive and a 80 gig NTFS D Drive.

XP Pro did install like a dream on this machine. It was a ME Box. I have had plenty of fights with bigger and better computers and this machine would not take W2K Pro.

Reasonfor the switch was no re-boots needed because of the use of the W2K kernal. and this server is a plain old fashion storage server for me… I ran out of hard drive space and it was easer to set up a windows box at the time instead of a linux box.I hate to have a computer out think me…
Ideas ???
