Windows xp pro Stop error 0x0000007e

by a.unikowski . Updated 24 years, 4 months ago

I am running windows xp professional.

I have an intermittent problem when I start up windows xp on a Dell 4400 system, I receive the following stop error:
0x0000007e (0xc0000005, 0x8086a2110,0xf7ac05e8,0xf7ac02e8).
Note well, there is no more information following the stop error parameters above.
After powering off and then powering on the system, the stop error does not
appear.
Once I have logged in ,windows xp runs like a dream and there is no problem in shutting down.
.
Microsoft and Dell have been of no use.
I have searched Microsoft’s site (Technet etc) for this error and found no information.
Has anyone come across this error?
