Windows XP Right Clicks Automatically

By tmulligan ·
For some reason, no matter what I am workiing on, WIndows XP will automatically right click. I am not even touching the mouse. I will not even be using the computer, but the right click options will pop up. Is this a bug in Widows XP. We have 500 users here and two other people report the issue. Has anyone ever seen this issue? I replaced my mouse and updated the driver, but it didn't help.

Is this a wireless mouse? Could it be the transeiver is picking up signals from a cube across from you? I've only seen this problem once and it was with a wireless mouse where the batteries were going dead. What kind of mouse and what kind of connection is it? Also what kind of computer?

I am using a ps2 mouse. The computer is a Compaq EVO D500 SFF. It is almost a year old. I am using the mouse that came with it. I tried a couple of them, but it didn't help. When I first saw the issue I thought it was from the switch box I was using for my 2 computers. I took that out of the picture, but I still have the constant right clicking issue. Thank you for responding.
