Windows XP Rigistry

by cix46 . Updated 17 years, 2 months ago

Hi. Thanks to Greg Sheltz for the Vista Tweak. I tried it and it’s great. However, I tried the “DisplayLastLogonInfo” registry option on my Windows XP computer but this seems not to be working.
The legal notice works perfectly in XP also except the last logon info. Can anyone tell me why the last logon info cannot display in Windows XP after it is created in the registry?

Below is Greg’s exact instruction that I followed:

Right-click anywhere inside the System key and select New | DWORD (32-bit) Value. When the new value appears, type DisplayLastLogonInfo and then press Enter twice. When the Edit DWORD dialog box appears, simply type 1 in the Value Data text box.

Thanks.
