I was in the middle of installing Windows Service Pack 2 on my Compaq laptop and it hung up. I had no choice but to shut down the PC. Now whenever I turn it on it keeps rebooting itself over and over each time asking if I want to boot in normal, safe, etc. mode – nothing makes a difference!
I cannot stop it in anyway other than to turn off the power. I am at a loss as to what I can do to fix this problem.
