Windows XP shared printer access

2003 Domain network with Win98 and WinXP workstations. Shared printers on WinXP for use by all workstations. Now systems are showing password is required to access the printers. Seems to be user level access as domain admins have access from all workstations, but not standard users. Where to look? Have checked policies, but none seem to be pertinent. Appreciate any suggestions.
