I have a Windows XP Pro SP2 with latest hotfixes installed. No tweaking or theme software is installed since this is a corporate laptop. I have a wide screen on the laptop, and I moved windows taskbar to the left side of the screen, resized it to be 3 lines wide and locked it’s position and size. Every time I restart a computer, taskbar gets smaller and smaller, until it goes to a default 1 line. Is there a way to prevent this, and to fix it’s size and position. I tried the registry, but the only setting is actually the one that is available by windows itself: Lock the taskbar, it doesn’t do the trick.
