Recently, Windows XP Taskmanager has stopped functioning properly. When I hit Ctl-Alt-Del, the Taskmanager menu appears, but, when, I hit “taskmanager” nothing at all happens. I can, however, run Taskmanager, by using a “copy of taskmanager” that I downloaded. Also, I AM unable to do a system restore, as all restore points appear to have disappeared.
I have run malwarebytes, and this has not solved the problem.
