I have a Windows 2003 AD DC with about 70 XP Pro clients. Some users chronically receive a temporary user profile upon logon. System states the profile cannot be found. I’ve reimaged some clients with no success.
The USERENT.LOG reflects errors such as:
GetGPOInfo: Local GPO’s gpt.ini is not accessible, assuming default state.
PolicyChangedThread: UpdateUser failed with 1008.
I’m at a loss as I’ve tried so many things.
