Windows XP Will Reboot Itself

I recently installed Win XP Pro on my machine at home. I had no problems at first with it. but all of a sudden after upgrading the cpu to a PIII from a PII, the system will just reboot itself on its own or if I click on a desktop icon sometimes it will do the same. Any suggestions of what is causing this would be helpful. Thanks
