Windows XP Wireless printer

I am a newbie. I have a PC based wireless network where all the computers are attached via wireless interface. Does anyone know where there are step by step insructions for attaching a printer to a linksys router. All the articles/instructions I have found instruct me to attach the printer to a computer on the network, the select the share printer option. This approach defeats my purpose as the computers in my office are all laptops. Attaching the printer to a computer defeats my purpose as the laptop the printer is attached to would no longer be moveable. To me it makes more sense to attach the printer the network via the router. Any info/advise from those wiser than I?
