I'm assuming that the account you used was the domain administrator to remove the machine from the domain. Now that it no longer belongs to the domain, it no longer recognizes the domain administrator password. You must either use the password forthe local computer administrator or some other local computer account. Any domain account will no longer be recognized.

The local computer administrator account was set during the OS installation and configuration.

I have sent an email to your address with a password reset program attached to it. Unzip it, copy to floppy, and boot. It will prompt you to choose a new pswd. That will at least get you into the local machine and you can go from there.
Good luck
