I am trying to configure a stand alone W2000 Professional system so that the user cannot get access to the Control Panel. I have set up the user and allocated restricted access to the user but when logged in as that user I can still "do damage" e.g.I was able to remove the floppy drive.
Is there some configuration that I am missing? I have been through the documentation but cannot see how I can stop access to all the applets in Control Panel.
Thanks

All Control Panel applets have the extension *.cpl. If you remove them from the system32 folder then the user won't see them. Hide them somewhere where you will be able to retrieve them.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
