If u mean by cache the [Vcache] value , then the answer is yes it will use the 64MB, VCACHE is drive cache Windows allocates that can often gobble up 25-40% of your installed memory. By default Windows places NO LIMIT on how large it can be.
After accessing large files, like video clips, VCACHE expands to an often huge size and then is very stingy about giving
that memory back to the system.
This is NOT the Windows swapfile and is NOT controllable from system/Performance/Filesystem/Troubleshooting.
Try downloading any tool that optomizes the cahce of windows try find it in www.download.com

Like the previous answer, I suggest that you use a memory/cache manager solution such as "Cacheman" from http://www.ultranet.com/~ss4/cacheman.htm .
This is easy to use, and once configured properly, can make a great difference.

If you prefer totweak even more intensely, you can use Xteq Systems software from http://www.xteq.com/ - under "Systems/File Systems/Options you will see all the tuning "knobs".

Hope this helps :-)
