windowsXP+PWS

By louisville ·
I usually use the Personal Web Server for some small development work at home(ASP pages), i have recently purchased a home edition XP operating system for my laptop and i am suprised that i cant run the PWS or similar application on my home edition.Any suggestions in general about this? Do i need the professional edition or is there some software available.

I've spent the past 2.5 years developing on PWS and having IIS has given me so much more flexibility in doing real asp app development!

Make the switch to IIS, you will never look back. It is available from Microsoft, and it is part of the NT Option Pack.
