Wingate + NT server

By laptopy ·
I've recently set up an NT server and wingate for the internet access. Now the problem i have is the following. At the clients it's possible to surf but every time i try to fill in a java form and try to send it to the maker it doesn't work. Now when i try to fill in that same form at the server that is also configured to make a connection thru wingate that works. Some people told me that i need to open some ports (3000,3001,3333) but i can't seem to find how i do this at the server or at wingate of at the clients

I never ran into this problem, but I know
a website where you can find information on Wingate. goto www.deerfield.com

I think you problem doesn't reside on the server or proxy.
@ the clients pcs open the browser and go
tools, Internet options, advanced, and select all the Java options. Close the browser. Open the browser and try the forms that failed on you in the past.
If you do not have those options, you need to upgrade your clients' browsers (IE4 to IE4 SP2 or IE5/5.01 install the Java separetly).

Good Luck!
