Hi all !
Friends ! I’m ganna be crazy really !!
Specs: 650MHz, 128MB, 25GB, NIC installed,Nvidia chipset, Creative Sound card … and Win2K Pro+SP1.
What happens is after I type my password and Enter, the system logs in fine until everything loads OK, programs loaded OK in the taskbar (beside the clock), and after all of this the system should be idle, it should be ready for use since it loaded everything should to load from the taskbar icons and programs to the wallpaper, to the startup programs to the registery entries which loads the AV and firewall …… but! what happens in my system is after it reaches the point that it should be silent and ready for use (idle) you can still hear the HDD suffers from posting and pulling thememory pages, and the processor is about 65 – 75% utilized!
So there is something is running at the background!! and it eats so hard resources in my system!! I check out the Task Manager and clicked to the Processes tab coz I wanna see what’s going on here! I found WINLOGON.EXE is the bad boy in my system !
Hmmm…… now lets see, I tried so many things to reposition this boy to right way to do the business, I ran some commands using Winmgmt.exe but nothing improved. I tried to minimize thestart up apps, same thing no improvment !!
It seems that this file is doing something which I don’t know where should I check !! it maybe a file to check the lines inside and find the entry which makes this noisy error?! maybe aa……. …. I don’t know !!
What should I do to stop this file from doing the job in the wrong way?
Rgds,
The Twister
