I have P3 800MHZ 128MB RAM with plenty of free HD space running WinME. The issue is that the network connection to a particular share on the NT server will suddenly end at erratic intervals. The user gets a msg indicating that the share is no longeraccessible. Other shared folders on the server are still accessible. Logging off and logging on rectifies the problem until the next time. Resources are okay and the network hardware (NIC, etc.) check out. It appears to be this one folder, but rights and permissions on the server are okay. This folder is accessed continually by this user and others, since it contains a lot of company information (mostly Word documents). I’ve disabled power management (hno hibernation mode, etc.). If anyone has any idea what is going on please let me know. Thanks.
