Oops! I changed my User Profile in Passwords (Control Panel) to “all users use the same preferences”. Now I can’t access background, passwords, TweakUI, can’t see “C” in My Computer, can’t do anything. I tried Sys Restore, reinstalling WinME, restoring a full system backup–no soap. Removed the CMOS battery for a minute or so. Jumper-cleared the CMOS and reset the BIOS, but system still thinks there’s an Administrator for me to check with and won’t let me in anywhere.
