WINNT/System32 folder

By mogliaK ·
On several of my NT 4.0 workstations the
WINNT/System32 folder launches at startup, no matter what user logs in. I've checked the startup folders, registry, etc. I can't find out why or how it's launching.
Any Idea's ???

WINNT/System32 folder

I'm just repeating my answer for the second instance of this question. Roger.

I had the same problem with several of my machines. The problem is that there is a value missing in the Registry. It is in the key :HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WIndows\CurrentVersion\Run.
The Knowledge Base article is Q170086. I hope it helps! Email me if you need further help, but I think the KB article will help the most. I know it helped me! Roger
