Good Morning, Afternoon or evening.
I am currently running 2 NT4.0 Servers (SP6a)a PDC and a BDC. I am also running a NT4.0 Server (SP6a) stand alone with Proxy 2.0. We are also have a T1 connection with a Cisco 1720 router and 10/100 switches.
Now here is my question. I have all my clients on Outlook Express or Outlook as thier mail service. During the day I will get error messages that the mail server cannot be found. Once this error happens I am able to press “hide” and then “send and receive” and it will go straight through. So, at first it can’t find the mail server but once I press “hide” and then “send and receive” it finds the mail server with no issues.
This is only with Outlook express and not Internet Explorer.
Why is this happening? Any fix?
