WINS and DHCP in Cluster environment

By FCH ·
I have installed a cluster in Windows 2000. I want to install the services of WINS and DHCP but I have some doubts: According to the indications I should install the services in the two nodes, but the scope I define them same in both nodes? doesn't this generate me conflicts? as the scope it should be configured in this installation type?.

WINS and DHCP in Cluster environment

The Cluster duplicates everything but the Registry of the two nodes. I wouldn't cluster WINS or DHCP because of that. We have a cluster and when we make a change in our SQL Server application that effects the registry we have to do it on both Nodes. Cluster is the end all of reduncy but a step closer. The best ways for WINS and DHCP to work for reduncy I think would be two different servers with split ranges for DHCP. And two WINS servers replicating.
