WINS and DNS

We can not see the local users when browsing the Network places,our site connects to the only DC (DNS server) through a T1, we have an NT on our site running only WINS.

Every workstation is W2k PRO, with the DNS pointing to the DC on the remote site and WINS to the local server.

It looks like the Workstations are’nt getting the update from the WINS properly.

WINS server event log shows EVENT ID 3013 is the redirector creating this problem?.

What can cause the local PC’s not show (connectivity is ok if pc is specfied)
