This is weried. Running win98 se, everytime I try and run a setup.exe, regardless of where I get the software(downloaded, bought, or burned) I get this Error 704 setup.ins file is corrupt, at which time installation is cancelled. .ins is the littleglobe and mouse pointer for internet setup right? Well I have tired everything I can think of including reloading the OS and creating an install.bat. Some apps work and some don’t so it may be a hardware compatiblity problem. Also I randomly get the neverending reg-checker-error. FYI, MS products work great. Norton System Works and Photoshop 5.5 didn’t. Currupt media is not a valid answer at this point, in my opinion.
