Using Office 2000 premium edition, specifically Word 2000. Running on
Pentium 3 850Mhz, 128MB Ram, Windows ME operating system. We have a problem using word when trying to open specific previous word files from our server. We are connected to a small network server. Word displays message ‘winword has caused an error and will now close’, it will not allow the file to be opened, and directs to a new blank word doc. What can we do to open up these old word files?
