Word was working fine until this morning
4-9-01. Everything else works fine in Office except Word. I get a "Winword.exe cause error". I've tryed removing andreinstalling Office, I've tryed removing Word from regedit and reinstalling Word. I've gone to Microsoft and downloaded lastest SP. I still get the same error and Word will not run ?

Winword.exe cause error

Well, I am a firm believer that you can't really uninstall Office. After uninstalling Office there are registry hooks that are not removed. I have several known problems that the only way to fix them is reformatting the computer. But before you take that drastic a step, answer these questions:
1. Was this installed from a 60-day demo?
2. Have you run scandisk and defrag?
3. Do you have a registry backup from before today?
4. Is anything else causing a problem?

Hope that helps.
