Here is my problem:
I work for a company that has a Windows 2000 Server running FidelioExpress (Micros 3500) V. 2.20 and MS Office 2000 installed.
I keep getting the following error: “winword.exe: Instruction at 0x308f3adb referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read.” It happens when a hotel clerk tries to print an account receipt from FidelioExpress using Folio.txt (a default file installed by FidelioExpress). This freezes up all printing through the server from 5 workstations.
I have researched a little and found out two possible solutions: (1) try to reinstall office 2000, and (2) try replacing the RAM. I am going to try both in the next day or two.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? If you need more details I can provide them.
