WinXP n' Dragon Naturally Speaking Probs

By HawkWoman65 ·
I am teaching a disabled friend of mine how to use her new computer, installed with WinXP. I tried to install Corel Wordperfect 8/Dragon Naturally Speaking software, and it stated that the Speech software was not compatible with WinXP,and a Speech file,"WINDOWS\Speech\speech.dll" was missing and required to run the program on that OS.Where do I find this missing file, and how do I make these 2 programs compatible?? Thank you.

WinXP n' Dragon Naturally Speaking Probs

by dvdcrg In reply to WinXP n' Dragon Naturally ...

I had a problem with xp and dragon, but my problem was in getting my microphone to work. You mite try cheching microsoft.com for any updates for xp or try LHLS.con/naturallyspeaking/ I'm using xp with office 2000 and naturallyspeaking 6, and it works fine now.
