I am having problems with network computers getting access to the shared drives on my computer. Whenever a user tries to map my network drives they are prompted for a password on the "guest account" the usewrname is greyed out with only guest available. I have simple file sharing installed and can access all other computers across the network.
Any help you can give will be great.

Well, I have the same issue. Never had this problem with Win2K. I can access the 98 shares from XP just fine...but from 98, it prompts for a password, no username. I have simple sharing turned of, so that I can grant access to certains folders as read-only for certain people.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
