I am the administrator on my XP machine. I have created other users on my XP machine. None of the users has a password. I am trying to run a Scheduled Task (to run a file backup .bat job) but it will not start because of a missing or blank password. All the documentation just says that you have to use one - it doesn't tell you what to do if your user account does not have a password assigned.
Anyone know a 'work-around' for this?

I have one question...does the administrative account that you are logged into have a password? If your account does not have a password, you might try setting up a password to login with and then try running the scheduler...
No, no passwords are assigned to the administrator or the other users. I guess I should have specified that I want to run a Scheduled Task without having to add a user or administrator logon password.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
