WinZip 1.11 45 Day trial version

My trial version has expired.I now have the disk to install Reg’d Version. Do i have to uninstall trial or does program overwrite previous & will i loose files that i’ve WinZipped ??? TONY

Check with Winzip.com for answers to your questions. One thing I can answer though is that NO, you will not loose the files you’ve winzipped. However, you won’t be able to open them until you get an unzipper installed. Winzip is one of many that can do it.

Personally, I would go ahead and uninstall the trial version, reboot, then install the reg’d version. You have nothing to loose by uninstalling a trial version that doesn’t work anyway.

Don’t check with WinZip!!

Everything else ThumbsUp2 has posted here is absolutely correct. Don’t bother asking the same question again to WinZip tech support. Just uninstall the shareware and install the corpware or whatever you call it, and be careful not to zip your wallaby.
